Two remixes in from the Japanese abstract painter Hiroaki Koshiba, who is know for his bright bright colours and flowing lines and spots.

Hiroaki explains:
I wanted to express something new feelings with the change of brand new season.
You know, now the season is changing, spring with Sakura has gone and turned out to be new green beautiful leaves are opening up, though it's still before summer.
This is such a coincidence with our live collaboration too, summer is soon, I like summer too.

This photo was taken at the 101 Tokyo Fun Party that took place at Super Deluxe on April 4th. The section of the On The March drawing that you see in the photo was put there a few days earlier at the On The March party and its still there!!!! Wooo, lets see how long it will last.

Here we are a second remix by Cassey Bradley-Leonardis. This is a portable remix that you can  carry around with in your packet where every you go.

The On The March Remixed project started in early April. Since then I have received remixes from Tokyo to London to Ohio to Louisiana. The super amazingly high standards of the remixes was a really nice surprise. I was extreamly chuffed that the artist really put time, effort and a lot of imagination into their remixes. This project is still open!!! So make a little bit of time in your crazy schedules for a bit of remixing fun!!

woooooooo what a great event..... thank you!!!

What a very amazing evening. The On The March event took place tuesday night at Super Deluxe. With fresh noisy and most defiantly kool live music from bands Coppe and Fizz to the funky fresh DJs with thier very own unique and individual styles; Yayameme, Brandon and the lovely Verena and not to forget all the absolutely eye watering visuals from Eric, Snz, David Roy and Shantell Martin herself.  

Also on the night mad movie entertainment came down to film the event and to interview Shantell for a documentary called Art in Hidden places. To do the actual interview they enlisted the help of the very gorgeous and entertaining Daisha.... You all have to check out her website and videos!!  

A super super big thank you for everyone that can down and enjoyed the night and to all that had fun with the project. Photos n video coming soon!
