On The March is the name of the Shirt designed for the third Tokyo Art Beat Collection by Shantell Martin. When Shantell describes On The March she explains the drawing behind the shirt ~
Take a walk around Tokyo and you will come across buildings, animals, and people of all shapes and sizes. It's as if someone has just completed an enormous jigsaw puzzle using all the wrong pieces. Nevertheless it all makes one very complete picture.
After the shirts` were released Shantell received tones of requests and pleads from people all over the globe to see the original drawing in its full entirety. Shantell decided to do one better than that, by releasing the original drawing on a creative common license for everyone to download and interpret the drawing in their own special way. Then Shantell wanted to encourage her global enthusiasts by making a proposal in the form of a video called `On The March Remixed The TAB Story Continues...`

The proposal was to take the original On The March drawing and remix it, customise it, cut it, make clothes from it, animations from it and where ever else their imagination could take them. The results have been posted on the On The March Remixed blog page http://on-the-march-remixed.blogspot.com/ and to be celebrated and shown off at the On The March Event at Super Deluxe on April 1st 2008. To commemorate the whole collaborative on going project Shantell remixed the Shirt and printed a very limited edition number of 40, that will be unveiled and on sale at the event.
WHAT IS THE EVENT FOR
The event is a celebration of the remixes from all over the world, for remixers to enjoy other remixes and anyone else who wants to come along and have a fun night out.
WHAT WILL THE IT PRESENT
On The March Event will present an exclusive number of original remixes, along side delicious sounds and eye tantalising visuals.
